Das Nikon 200mm T2, rehoused by Zero Optik, ist ein außergewöhnliches Tele mit genau der Art von Charakter, die man heute kaum noch findet: lang, schnell, schmeichelnd — und trotzdem voller Präsenz.
Es ist scharf, ohne hart zu wirken. Hauttöne bleiben weich und natürlich, Highlights bekommen einen feinen Glow, und bei offener Blende entsteht diese besondere Mischung aus Bloom, Tiefe und leichter optischer Magie, die moderne Teleobjektive oft verlieren. Abgeblendet wird das Bild ruhiger und präziser — zwei sehr unterschiedliche Stimmungen in nur einer Optik.
Seine größte Stärke ist aber das Bokeh: extrem weich, rund und fließend. Das Motiv löst sich fast mühelos vom Hintergrund, ohne dass das Bild künstlich oder überzeichnet wirkt. Durch die 18-Lamellen-Blende bleibt diese wunderschöne, kreisrunde Unschärfe auch abgeblendet erhalten.

It is sharp without ever feeling harsh. Skin tones stay soft and natural, highlights get a subtle glow, and wide open it creates that special mix of bloom, depth and slight optical magic that modern telephoto lenses often lose by being too clean. Stopped down, the image becomes calmer and more precise — two very different moods in one lens.
Its greatest strength, however, is the bokeh: extremely soft, round and flowing. The subject separates almost effortlessly from the background, without the image ever feeling artificial or overdone. Thanks to its 18-blade iris, that beautiful circular out-of-focus rendering stays intact even when stopped down.
